GREATER MERRIMACK VALLEY | TRAVEL & TOURISM CVB
CHALLENGE:
Revitalize the image of a historically significant but overlooked tourism region with minimal existing content and limited marketing resources.
APPROACH:
Connected the region's industrial heritage to its contemporary artistic community through the stories of three local artists working with metal, wood, and water—elements that echo the area's industrial past.
IMPACT:
Sparked renewed local interest in regional attractions, secured a partnership with the neighboring "North of Boston" tourism bureau, and established an ongoing relationship with the Greater Merrimack Valley CVB.
Our goal was to capture three individual stories and ask local artisans how they approach their craft, what it means to them, and why they feel it's as relevant today as it was when our country was founded. I took dozens of recognizable historical sights from around Merrimack Valley and put them together to paint a picture of the region I grew up in but never gave a second look - the result was a profoundly deeper appreciation for my home and the realization that I've been living in the heart of our country's history and never took a second look.

CHALLENGE:
Transform what began as simple scholarship audition footage into a compelling narrative that would authentically capture a young drummer's extraordinary dedication and artistic philosophy.
APPROACH:
Explored the decade-long mentorship between Caedmon and his teacher Dylan, revealing how this relationship fostered not just technical skill but a mature understanding of a drummer's leadership role within musical groups.
IMPACT:
Created an emotionally resonant portrait that transcended the original scholarship purpose, demonstrating how cinematic storytelling can elevate personal narratives to reveal deeper truths about artistic development and mentorship.

CHALLENGE:
Convey the profound significance of April 19, 1775—the day that sparked the American Revolution—in a way that resonates with modern audiences and honors the dedication of historical reenactors.
APPROACH:
Centered the narrative around Gerry, a passionate historian and tour guide, whose deep knowledge and emotional connection to the events creates an intimate window into this pivotal moment in American history.
IMPACT:
Transformed historical education into compelling storytelling that deepens public appreciation for both the sacrifices made on that fateful day and the modern-day devotion of reenactors who preserve this living history.

CHALLENGE:
Transform a simple smartphone commercial into a powerful brand story that would resonate on a jumbotron at MA Pirates arena football games and demonstrate the life-changing impact of Evolved Health's comprehensive care approach.
APPROACH:
Centered the narrative on Cody, a professional motocross rider whose career and identity were threatened by debilitating back pain, documenting his remarkable journey from being bedridden to returning to competitive dirt biking through Evolved Health's multidisciplinary treatment.
IMPACT:
Elevated the client's marketing from a basic service advertisement to an emotionally resonant story that positions Evolved Health as a transformative healthcare provider capable of restoring patients' ability to pursue their passions pain-free.

CHALLENGE:
Capture the essence of expressionist painter Giovanni Decunto's unique artistic vision and lifetime dedication to self-expression in a way that reveals both his technical process and philosophical approach to creating art.
APPROACH:
Gained exclusive access to Giovanni's studio and creative process, using intimate cinematography to document not just how he creates his distinctive paintings, but the emotional and intellectual journey behind each piece.
IMPACT:
Created a compelling portrait that elevates Giovanni's work beyond mere technique to reveal the deeper purpose and passion driving modern artistic expression, offering viewers rare insight into the mind of a contemporary master.

CHALLENGE:
Create a compelling recruitment narrative for UMass Chan's nephrology fellowship program that authentically showcases the program's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and supportive mentorship.
APPROACH:
After interviewing multiple fellowship members, we discovered Efrain's unique journey—a Puerto Rican immigrant who overcame language barriers, personal tragedy, and identity challenges to find belonging at UMass—and centered the story on his transformative experience.
IMPACT:
Produced a powerful testimonial that positions UMass Memorial Health as more than a medical institution but as a community where diverse healthcare professionals can thrive personally and professionally while making meaningful connections with patients.
